I went shopping today for fabric for a client I’m working with and came across some surprising finds.
Let me qualify this with a disclaimer, I’m not usually a lover of Toile. I fact, I can pretty much say with complete conviction that I usually think of it as dated, boring and, for lack of a better term, grandmotherly. However, I just found both of these patterns so interesting, the colors unique and the textures really inviting.
These, mixed with some more contemporary fabrics could be a whole lot of fun!
Sometimes its important to push yourself in a decorating direction that you would never, under normal circumstances consider.
Looks like I’ve got new throw pillows for my own home on the way!
