…Consisted of consuming massive quantities of home made chocolate dipped pretzels sprinkled with candy cane dust, delicious finger foods shared by my favorite foodie (and wine) friend, Tracie along with several neighbors Saturday night and one UFC fight the I didn’t pay a single second of attention to, because why would I?
It was a perfect opportunity to show off my pretty Poinsettas and giggle with my girls and then lay around and do nothing but sleep late and watch football on Sunday as the weather thermometer dropped dramatically and my wish for winter came true.
I hope you had a lovely weekend and have a fantastic week!

We’re an entire week into December here in the northern region of Texas and while it’s extremely rare for us to encounter snow or anything nearly as beautiful as the images above, it has been unseasonably warm for this time of year…I’m talking nearly 80 degrees! My son was in California all last week where it was cold and rainy and here, we had beach weather without a beach.
I’m yearning for weather to match the season. All of my Christmas decorations are out and begging for a reason to make hot coco and snuggle near the fire. Hopefully next week…
In the mean time, I’ll have to settle for these stunning images by David Fuller to inspire me. Someday, I hope to live in a place where it snows for Christmas (I know you northerners are just shaking your heads at me like some poor misguided little idiot). I know, I know. But it sure is pretty.

Have a lovely day, friends!

Here we are! The new Casa Stephens Interiors blog/website!
After a lot of thought and consideration I came to the conclusion that in order to simplify my life (and yours if you are a client or potential client) that I needed to combine my website and my blog. Hence, the new CasaStephensInteriors.com.
Here you will be able to access daily (or near daily) tips and inspiration for beautiful living as well as contact information and project updates.
Please bear with me as the changes and evolution take place. I’m obviously still in the fine tuning stages but I wanted to get up and running as soon as possible and I would love your feed back on how things are progressing! Word press is new to me and as with any great changes, the learning curve can at times be sharp so if you have any tips or tricks I appear to be missing, please share
