Do you Parlez-vouz? After digging out all this French provincial influenced design, I believe I do!
Today we’re searching for kitchen and bathroom inspiration that has that European flavor and can speak a bit of Francais.
I picked these specifically because of their black and white details. If we end up doing black countertops, I think these are a perfect example of how chic and yet provincial they can look:
I think I could live with any and all of these.
I had planned on showing you some of the recent photos I had edited of my friend, Ms. Belle’s house that I’ve been working on for some time now.
She has such great taste and some amazing antique that were fun to incorporate with some contemporary elements, which is just my favorite thing to do.
Unfortunately, my computer is on strike and most of my photos are on there (fingers crossed this issue isn’t serious and I don’t lose the hard drive).
So, here’s a taste of what I have from my iPad, which I’m posting from now.
The entire kitchen got a magnificent facelift, complete with new granite, backsplash, lighting and fixtures.
And in the breakfast nook, we added a gorgeous new rug to compliment the beautiful antique dining set she already had as well as the stunning new hardwood floors that were installed.
The rest of Ms. Belle’s remarkable home transformation will need to wait until I can get my precious Mac up and running again. Keep your fingers crossed for good news!
Yesterday, via Facebook, Traditional Home gave us a sneak peak at this year’s Hamptons Designer Show House that will be published in next summer’s publication.
The images were absolutely stunning as over 20 interior designers participated in creating such bright, breathtaking spaces.
The kitchen, in particular however, really caught my attention:
I think I could do some serious culinary damage in this kitchen, don’t you?
I love the clean lines and materials they used here and of course, that back splash speaks for itself, does it not?
