Yesterday, my latest issue of Pottery Barn Kids catalog showed up in the mail and as usual, I began pouring through the pages looking for inspiration for my 5 year old son’s room. I was surprised to find myself fascinated by a couple of the nursery photos that caught my eye and I think I may have even felt my uterus twitch just a couple of times….uh oh!
Loving the decals they have for the walls now. I’m thinking this would even look cute in my bathroom!
This had me yearning for the days when my daughter was little.
It also had me thinking how much Erin from House of Turquoise would love this!
again…sweet little girls stuff….(sigh)…love that chandelier!
Ok, back to boy stuff because the little girl ship has sailed into the horizon of adulthood.
I ADORE Cat in the Hat! This would’ve been perfect for him if I had done it when he was younger but I want something he can grow with….
This is very similar to what he has now with the planes hanging from the ceiling. I’d love to incorporate them into the next phase. I love the map on the wall!
Ms. Jenell over at Max and Isabella Design did something similar for her boy’s room and even took it a step further, using chalk board paint….something I’m seriously considering.
I’m leaning dramatically towards bunk beds…what are your thoughts?
There are so many great options out there for kids rooms these days. I love finding inspiration from catalogs and even better, from YOU all!

Oh my gosh, that makes my ovaries flip around! SOOOOOO cute! The colors are perfection!
I'm having butterfly decal dreams. Now I just need to have a baby girl so I can put them in her nursery. HA!
Pottery Barn Kids has some AMAZING stuff, I will be heading there when I have a baby one day! Thanks for popping by my blog, I really appreciate it!

definitely saving some of these for my 'someday kids room' folder:)
The blue boys bedroom with the planes is my favorite, I love the map wallpaper too! And the striped rug and lampshades.. yum!

Love the blue bedroom with the planes! The compass and map on the wall behind the bed just does it for me:-) And those girly images really make me wish I had a little girl!
I can never get enough of the pottery barn magazines, especially pottery barn kids. These nurseries are gorgeous. I love the deep blue boys room with the wall map, gorgeous!
