I am married with three beautiful children and have designed my own home to reflect my love of family life and entertaining.
I have been obsessed with interior design, fashion and art for as long as I can remember and after earning my degree in interior design in 1996, I launched my first design business in 2001.
I grew up in southern California where I learned the art of “Less is More”.
After moving to Texas in 2008, I launched Casa Stephens Interiors in 2011. I specialize in reading people’s needs and translating them into functionally beautiful spaces that reflect the lifestyle of the people who inhabit it.
My Design Philosophy:
I believe strongly that you don’t have to live in a mansion to live richly. Making the most of what you have is more important and more interesting that having it all. Understanding budget and need for a desired result is key to any successful design project. Up-cycling previously loved items can 9 times out of 10 become more interesting and one of a kind than a newly purchased item and often be a whole lot less expensive.
I like to think of dressing your home in the same manner you would dress yourself. Dress according to your body type and shop within your budget. You don’t have to spend a million dollars to dress beautifully and your home is no different (unless of course, you want to spend a million dollars. I can most certainly help you with that too).
Making your home the most beautiful version of it’s self and the most expressive version of you is what it’s all about!
